would I pick??? Sabrina's challenge on the Ways to Use It today was horses in celebration of Chinese New Year~year of the horse. I remembered having a package of die cuts from K&co that included this beautiful horses' head. And from that humble start, I leapfrogged to my Making Memories of a Lifetime scrapbook of vintage images (Animals). There were several pages of horse related choices, but when I saw this fun quote, I thought I could work it SOMEhow.
I exported the quote into photoshop, sizing it for my card and then made a couple of copies until I thought I had the right size. Went scrounging for an interesting paper to print on...just knew the nice woodgrain would be right. And then for the background...not quite sure how the vehicles with HORSES under their engines popped into my brain, but when I saw this coolio dp from Basic Grey's 'BowTies' I knew I had arrived in the arena of my horsey creation!
This card is already destined for someone who has a 4 year old paint named Ellie, a most beautiful horse. I hope this will tickle her funny bone. Thanks for your comments, have a most wonderful day!

What an interesting and creative card,,,pairing a horse with some horseless carriages! That woodgrain paper works well as a bg for your quote on this fun card.

Great card! I love how your mind works! Horses and horsepower, go together like a love and marriage. Oh no .... now I have that tune stuck in my head. I remember my mother singing that song when I was little. Probably haven't thought of it in 50 years! I wonder if anyone else knows the song I'm talking about?

Thanks for sharing your wit and humor with us today, Susan. Love that background depicting our modern idea of horsepower today. Fabulous take on this challenge.
