I bought an old church hymnal at a thrift store a few years ago and love to use the pages as layers in my cardmaking. I wanted a more rustic oval for this card - not a perfect die-cut shape. I firmly held one of my Spellbinders Petite Ovals dies firm on the paper (flat side down on the paper) then tore the paper around the outside edge of the die.
