This is my card for today's WTUI challenge Horses, to celebrate the Chinese New Year which starts tomorrow.
Horse Love from Stamp-np Doodle coloured with Polychromos pencils.
Layered on card sponged with Walnut Stain and distressed.
Card base sponged with Walnut Stain.
Faux Barn board using the tutorial in Resources. ItÂ’s not my most successful attempt at it, but IÂ’m happy enough with it. I used a mix of Frayed Burlap and Weathered Wood to colour the base layer.
Cottage Cutz picket fence - originally I stamped it with Weathered in Weathered Wood, but after I took my first photo I decided I'd prefer it just plain white, LOL.
Photo corners cut from card sponged with Walnut Stain, embossed with Textile ef and then sponged with a luster rub-on.
Wow - I actually had to buy a digital stamp for this challenge. My beloved Penny Black fat pony is more suited to fun bandanna style backgrounds which wasn't the way I wanted to go for this card. DH wonders will I get my money's worth from a digital. Hardly a problem ;-). My nieces have a pony and even my nephew has had a summer job at the local riding school for the last three summers, so this stamp will get used again.

Well, you certainly bought a beautiful digi!!! What a very pretty card. (You can also search out horse clipart and get loads of images for free!) My little Laynee would love this one!

Ah Sabrina, this is so sweet and heart warming! This is a great digi and I love the fence you added and those embossed corners! Wonderful!
I have scads of horse stamps, due to the fact that I hang out with 'horsey' friends.
