This challenge was to create a simple, totally obvious card. Sending a card just to say hello is such a simple way to brighten anyone's day! A bit of sponging, an embossed sentiment and a bit of bling and this card is ready in a flash!

I used a stencil that I had in my stash because I don't have that thinlit. I am sure you could make a stencil from it and use it. I am ordering the honeycomb with my SAB order this week so I will try another card like this when it arrives!
Such a great idea to sponge the honeycomb, and I really like the gradient effect of the blue tones. This is definitely a quick and simple way to send a "hello"!! Great Job!

I just love this!!! The use of vellum for the word bubble is awesome. Love the transparency.
I have the Hexagone thinlit die, and I have used it to make a stencil, and have even used it to dry emboss on a card. Both cards are in my gallery if you want to see the effect. You can get subtle to lots of texture with that die.
