This is so cool! The hexagone hive thinlit can be used to emboss on a card as well as cut.
To emboss you have to make the Big Shot Sandwich like this:
Multipurpose platform on tab 1
Acrylic plate
Silicone rubber mat
Cardstock
Hexagone Hive Thinlit Die
Acrylic plate
Shim (thin cardboard, depending on your Big Shot)
The silicone rubber mat prevents the die from cutting the paper, but will emboss the design. While the embossed paper is still on the die, I sponged Crushed Curry ink, darker in the top right hand corner, then stamped the little bee from the Collage Curios set (retired). The Big Queen bee is from the backyard basics set. www.paperpassionpapier.ca
