Over Christmas I saw lots of lovely cards that used stamps or dies of birch trees. I made these "tree trunks" myself from roughly cutting strips of craft foam and adding a few notches. I stuck them to a stamp block with a bit of glue tape.

Oh gosh - aren't you the smart one! I have a birch stencil but it's not always what I want. I'll definitely be trying a birch tree stamp cut from foam. And it gives a great soft texture to your trees. Thanks for playing along with the TLC challenge this week.

Wow this looks fantastic. I actually tried to cut the birch tree die with foam and it didn't work, I would never have thought of making my own. Your card looks terrific.
