This is for this week's mixed media challenge to use warm colours. I tore a piece of an advertising flyer with joyful silhouette children and glued it to the cardstock. Then applied a bit of gesso to the different areas of the card. I applied mod podge to the image. Then used acrylic paints to colour most of the cs. Around the edges I used yellow gelatos and to fill in blank areas. Did some random stamping of bg images. Then I glued on several strands of craft coloured crimped packing paper. Lastly, I added the sentiment. The photo is poor as I took it in the evening. I may try to take another when the sun is up.

Wow! This is a work of art and how I would have enjoyed watching you do this masterpiece! This is the type of mixed media we all hope to achieve at one point! Amazing and right into favorites! That image is so dreamy!

Delightful choice to use the cute magazine picture. I love the little details, especially that crimped paper strips. Thanks so much for playing the Mix-ability challenge this week!
