Gosh, I was so excited to be chosen as a guest designer for CAS257, especially since I struggle with CAS! Quite an honor, to my way of thinking!
We were given a gorgeous color palette to choose from when creating our cards. After a false start or two, this is what I came up with.
I was so pleased to find the patterned paper in my stash - it's very subtle, but the pattern just matches the color of the tree and the card base. Everything just came together after that, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
As always, thanks for looking!

I can relate to your struggle with CAS but from this beauty, you would have fooled me! That paper is gorgeous and does not drowned out your beautiful Valentine tree! Love your card!
This is so pretty. I love the hearts on the ground. What a great idea that was. Your dp worked perfectly. To look at this it would not seem there was any issue with your CAS talent!
