Stamped/masked the 3 Flourishes poppy images in Versamark, heat embossed and cut with Nestie. Randomly painted gesso in spots and allowed to dry, then painted with re-inkers as Dawn described in this weeks TLC, using colors on Dina's warm spectrum in todays MIX challenge. When dry added touches of acrylic paint, then glued microbeads in a technique I first used for last weeks Mix-Ability challenge. When dry, painted beads with more acrylics. Meanwhile, painted a strip of orange with Fired Brick crackle paint. Stamped the SU Poppies on DP and colored with Copics.
Ran the crackle-painted strip through the chevrons EF and sanded some of the paint away (I was going for a Core'dinations-like effect with a contrasting color). Mounted all with a deep chevron piece of the same DP and a simple hemp bow onto a kraft card using Janette's lovely sketch this week. PT - 1
Thank you Dina, Dawn, Janette and Janelle for your inspiration...I couldn't do this without your nudging! Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

Great array of techniques used here! Love the effect you achieved with your poppies. This is a beautiful card! Thanks for providing so much detail; a great inspiration!

I particularly love your Pleasant Poppies on text panel, Marie.
Reading about your embossed panel, you should check out this Acrylic Distress tutorial in Resources. Especially since I see you have acrylic paints, ;) - I think I had to go and buy some when I first wanted to try the tutorial.
