Dina asked us to make a warm card today. I'm totally out of my comfort zone, but gosh did I have fun. Painted the flower with acrylics, and added modeling paste to the center, and covered it with a bronze paint...added more paste on top. Completed the card and added my sentiment.....it was crooked, really crooked. So I salvaged the flower by cutting it out and started over. Used some drywall tape and paint, embossed and added paint to the words that needed to be highlighted. Love this sentiment. I hope you did something today that was fun and made you smile.tfl

Ha - I just got this stamp in the mail - I too love the sentiment! Your crooked card turned out to be a wonderful opportunity to add the fun (and perfect!) texture, patterns and color highlights. Kudos for letting yourself do this...I love how your work turned out. I hope that you are staying warm...It definitely warms my heart (and makes me smile!) to see this fun new side of you! Linda, this is a fabulous MIX card! Love your flower peeking up over the lower edge, it looks like that was the way it was always meant to be! Wonderful splotches, neat embossing and fantastic sentiment! For out of your comfort zone, you nailed it!!!

Seeing your work in the gallery is such a delight, Linda! Your artwork and mixed media talents are insurmountable! This is incredible combined with so many techniques you use. If I could choose just one class to take it would most definitely be yours!
