 | | For today's MIX52 - warm colours. I had ordered a Gelatos starter pack with some Christmas money, and picked it up after work today. Since one of the pictures in the instructional booklet (and indeed one of the surfaces supplied for experimenting with was textured) showed embossed paper, I decided to use some warm colours and make a sunrise.
This card is a combination of what I see these mornings - we have had a few beautiful pink sunrises and I nearly got off the bus one morning to take some photos, but it was bitterly cold that day. And most mornings - once I'm in town and the pink has faded to our normal grey - I see some flocks of geese heading across the city.
White card embossed, coloured with Gelatos, stamped. For my second medium I added some Stickles along one side of each ray - but it's so grey here it was hard to capture the sparkle. |
