Part of the criteria for to-day's challenge is to use hot or cold colours..depending where you live. Well when I woke up this morning it was -25C (which is approx -15F) so I automatically chose 'cool'! What choice did I have? LOL This is also for the Dare to get Dirty Done Cheap because I used an old calendar page to make the origami ties on the shirt and the bookmark. I haven't used this 'old' Diamonds in the Rough folder for yonks (probably one of the first folders I ever bought) so that covers my new years resolution to use old stuff. The outside is sponged with Night of Navy ink. I hope my nephew likes it. His birthday is coming up soon.

Sue, this is fabulous....and I LOVE your origami tie with the wintery scene.....and the shirt is terrific. Now all he needs is a down-filled parka. : )

You are just way too clever, Sue! Honestly, this is so perfect for any guy! I love the buttons on the shirt being snowflakes & the tie clip too! Beautiful origami ties, card and matching bookmark!

sometimes I wonder why I find myself staring with my mouth hanging open when I see so many or your cards. This one is no exception. Thanks for saying you used a calendar. I save them forever. Is there a pattern for those awesome ties and shirt?
