What a lovely color combo. I still had the Pleasant Poppies stamp set on my desk so I decided these colors would suit this wonderful image. I tried my blender pens at first, but didn't like the colors. So, I used direct marker to paper and liked it better. I didn't have a Blushing Bride marker (Must get one) so I had to use Rose Red (I think.....can't remember now that I'm at work). I added a button. I may go back to add some Itty Bitty background splashes here and there.....it just needs a little something.
Have a wonderful day! We are supposed to get 8-16 inches of snow today! Bring it on!!!!! I LOVE it!

Lovely card with the pretty pink poppies, Lesley. I like that you left the bg white...makes the flowers all that more dramatic. The two opposite rounded corners add interest.

Your poppies are stunning!! Sometimes I really like a card without the sentiment on the front. It gives all the focus to your pretty flowers and the white crisp bg.

I really love these poppies. I never tire of seeing them, especially when they are in pinks and REDS!!
