sitting open in my browser for more than a week, while I tried to resist ordering this lovely die from Heartfelt Creations. (I lost that battle) But I don't have it yet, so I had to move to plan B. I used a die I bought last summer, but had not yet opened. This Japnese Garden Lace Oval die is lovely, but really can't be raised up as it is too delicate. So I adhered it to a card front and then cut out an oval using the Spellbinders dies. It did not match up perfectly, but I covered the difference with the flowers.
I cannot claim that this is any kind of CAS card as Tina did, because there was a steep learning curve. The first greeting I chose was a clear set and did not give me a very clean image Then it took me three tries with this one to get it right!
Since the leaves and flower are new items in my house, I spent this morning watching videos on how to shape and shade them, so there was an extensive learning curve there as well. But the card turned out and I am please with it.

Kathy it's a gorgeous card............ you will be SOOO happy when the new die hits your mailbox. It's so very well crafted and releases from the die very well. Love what you did with my card. I'm really liking the white flowers with the blue on them...... Have a super week and thanks for playing in my challenge...
