This is my card for today's inspiration challenge. This is the colour palette I chose. The background on my focal panel is coloured by blending together blue and purple pencils (some water colour, some not) with Goo Gone, using a blending stump. The SU Field Flower are stamped, slightly overlaping, with Adirondack Stream.
TFL!
EDIT: A number of people have asked me for a little more detail about using GooGone as a blender, so I thought I'd elaborate. I coloured the cardstock (just plain old white card stock from my local stationary store) with a variety of pencils....some were watercolour, some were not. I pressed really hard to get lots of colour down. Then, using a blending stump and a little jar of GG, I dipped the stump into the GG then rubbed it back and forth over the colours, blending them together. GooGone does have a smell while your working with it (altho it doesn't bother me particularly) but it fades so your card will be alright. I will warn you about one thing....after I was finished I had to rub the whole thing over with a kleenex to get the excess colour off (don't want it coming off on someone's white blouse). After a really good rub, it didn't come off on my fingers any more, but if I pressed really hard with a kleenex (testing extremes) it still came off a little tiny bit, but not enough to worry about. I have a can of Krylon Workable Fixative, but I don't like using it, because it says in the instructions you have to shake it for 2-3 minutes before you use it. I'm not shaking anything for 2 minutes...lol....I don't have the patience.

I love the layout as well. The equal sized deep borders gives a marvellous depth to your image. What a beautiful selection of colours in your stamped panel. TFS

Jo this is wonderful! The colours are fabulous! I have never tried the 'goo gone' technique but after seeing your awesome art I am certainly going to give it a try.
