For my background I first used gesso on a piece of heavy cardstock. I glued on some rhinestones, micro beads and sequins and a bit of embossing paste for a little more texture. Once that was dry I added some more gesso and then colored the background with splashes and scribbled using Faber Castell Gelatos (I made watercolor by adding water to the gel sticks and then as a final step I colored directly and smudged the color with my finger).
The cute little fairy is from Tiddly Inks (Fairy Heartfelt Clear Stamp Set) she was colored with Touch Twin markers (YR27, R28, RP138, R10, BR94, BR96). I added micro beads to her skirt for some added texture.
