I was inspired by a photo from a local lavender farm in Harrisonburg, VA - White Oak Lavender, when I chose the colors for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge. I started by die cutting the jar using ODBD Apothecary Bottles die then stamping the Apothecary Bottles image with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossing with clear EP. Coloring was done with Copics (BV0000, BV000, BV00, E55, E57). Flower and leaves dies are by Spellbinders. The sentiment is from ODBD Special Blend stamp set.

Oh Wanda.........I just love this new ODBD stamp set. Lavender is my very favorite herb. Have taken my herb society on many trips but we've never visited White Oak..will have to research that. I made a birthday card with this set for a friend of mine whose birthday is today. Our Tuesday morning breakfast group celebrated her birthday yesterday. I had added some lavender essential oil to the ribbon on the card and it really perfumed the air when she opened it. The Proverbs verse you used is soooo true. Lovely card...TFS
