I cut off the hearts at either end , layered and stamped the polka dotted stamp in a variety of colors, then die cut. The most INTERESTING thing I did on this card was in the sentiment!! I originally thought to use a sentiment from the set as was, BUT...it said, "you PAINT my heart happy"...and I DIDN'T use paint. Then, I thought to look for the word "color" and found another sentiment in the same set with the word "color", which HAD the exact size and font , but said "Colors", so I cut it apart and put the "Color" in place of the "Paint"....oh how I LOVE to cut sentiments apart! There WAS a day when it frightened me to no end to just think about cutting stamps a part...NOW, I do it almost daily!!! So cool when you can achieve JUST what you want to say even if the sentiments you have don't...you just mix and match!!

I'm always looking for new rainbow designs to send to my cousin. I LOVE your hearts design...so clean & simple!! I never thought about cutting sentiments to make them work differently, but I sure will be taking a look at what I have & how I can re-use them!! Great job...TFS!!

awesome card Lisa... You are so brave to cut apart the sentiment, let alone the s from colors.. But how cool.. I just ink up the part of the sentiment I need with a memento marker. Love how your hearts turned out as well... I love rainbow colors and of course CAS style.... Well done my dear
