What a fun site! IÂ’m so excited to be a guest for the Inspiration Challenge! Audrie was kind enough to ask me & I love the site she chose! After browsing for a long while, I kept coming back to THESE vases. I just love the colors and curves so I tried to incorporate those in my card.
I cut a piece of white card stock then used a curved border die to divide it in 3 pieces. The wide section I left white & embossed it. The turquoise & red sections were colored w/ Copic markers. I attached them to a white 4 x 5.25 piece of white c/s. ItÂ’s wrapped w/ seam ribbon that I colored to match using the same red Copics.
The greeting panel was die cut w/ a coordinating die and w/ the die in place, I added color using the same turquoise & red Copics, removed the die & stamped the greeting image w/ Versafine. I prefer Versafine for clear, dark stamping, but the ink doesnÂ’t work well under Copics, so I colored w/ the Copics first, then stamped on top. The image layer behind it is a border design that coordinates w/ Labels 26. I added just a touch of color then cut it in half so I could pull the sides in & make it a bit narrower.
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups and the colors of Copics I used are on my blog: The Write Stuff

How super cool this is! I love that the colors of the vases, as well as the 'curves' of the vases are brought into your inspiration card! Wonderfully inspirational! Thank you for joining us and being our guest hostess in the IC423 challenge!

, I loved those colours too, and will bear them in mind as I create this week. You've used them wonderfully - even down to all the tiny little mosaic-like detail in the layer under the little Blessings message.
