I don't ring in the new, I use up the old in this piece. I used: leftover gelli plate prints, a crocheted snowflake ornament bought at a rummage sale, a thank you card for an order from Impress and a transparency with snowflakes that held some kind of thing I purchased. I used the body of the thank you card to cut the oval, layered over some of the transparency and added the crocheted snowflake. I used the back of the card to layer my horizontal gelli plate print made from a snowflake stencil and I used the sentiment also. I added the transparency under the sentiment and the angled piece, also a gelli plate scrap. I know the transparencies don't add much to this photo but they do add interest in real life. I didn't list stamps and ink because I don't know what Grace, who filled my Impress order, used. There are some blue snowflakes stamped on the raspberry paper but they don't show up very well. I'm proud of myself that I made use of stuff I had, which is always a resolution.

You've made a great card using what you had. I especially like the snowflake -- haven't seen one like that before. I wonder if the crochet pattern is available somewhere
