Happy New Year! My first post of 2014. . . canÂ’t believe it. I donÂ’t know about you, but IÂ’m in need of a change of pace, especially since itÂ’s so cold everywhere. I decided to use one of the new Canning Jars and some tulips using ODBDÂ’s Tulip Corner. I wanted a little different shape to make it prettier and then added Amazing Grace Hymn for the background with some sponging. I shaped the jar and the flowers to give them some depth and dimension and then added a little sentiment tag on the front of the opaque jar.
For more details on this week's ODBD challenge based on 2-0-1-4, please visit the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog. And I hope youÂ’ll visit my new blog sometime.
Thanks for “stopping by” and leaving a comment! Warm hugs to everyone!

Cheryl, this is absolute perfection - the soft blue, which is one of my favourite shades, makes such a beautiful combo paired with the pink. I love the canning jar image with the pretty flowers and the bg makes it shine all the more! It all makes me sigh! Fabulous creation, my friend!

What a sweet jar full of blessings! The different shapes add a great interest to the card and the hymn background is the perfect accompaniment to the jar of blessings. Love it all !
