This week the teaparty is headed to the Great White North...Canada! This card seems extremely out of place with the weather so VERY cold...but dear girlfriends, Essie and Kendra work together, enjoy taking their dogs to the beach and sneak out for Pepsi and salt & vinegar chips. Elke supported Kendra when she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly after Kendra's surgery, Elke found a lump. These bosom buddies are now fighting breast cancer together.
I know there are four ladies, so lets just say their two favorite nurses went along for some fun! The card reads,
"Remember when...You Tube meant of floaty device for one?"
Hopefully Kendra will get a little laugh from this silly card I stamped, paper pieced and fussy cut the ladies, then used a wobbler to attach them to the blue panel. I cut two borders (one in white and one in Pool Party) and used them above the main image. I used the negative pieces below. The White panel is a 6" circle and the base for the image and die cuts is a light blue, 5" scalloped circle (with the top third folded back) and attached to the white base. I hope that makes sense
I am making a card for Elke too, but will let it be a surprise for her since she is a SCS member

WooHoo Miss Kathleen Lammie, this is WONDERFUL. Everything about it makes my face and heart smile. It was very clever of you to send two nurses along for a bit of fun too. Your background is fantastic, as is everything here. Your gorgeous girls look great in My Favs. Xx

Love your card Kathleen. Your waves are amazing...will have to remember that trick. I'm sure that Elke and Kendra have many of their friends supporting them as well so 4 ladies is just the right number!!! Love the sentiment!!!
