Congrats to Joy, the newest Featured Stamper! Her gallery is a delight & after browsing for a long time, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the snowy sky & tree theme, but I used different images, slightly different colors & made mine just a winter card instead of a Christmas card.
I stamped the snow tree w/ fence on white, added a hint of color & shadows w/ some very light cool gray & a snow green Copic markers, then cut around the top edge. When I got to the tree, I left only a very small portion of the right side of the trunk & cut the rest off (even I'm not crazy enough to cut out those branches!). On a larger navy blue piece, I lined up where the tree would be & stamped it again w/ the white ink. I added a bit more white (for snow) on the tree with a white gel pen. I used a small die cut circle for the moon & stamped just a few of the branches w/ black. The snow was stamped using the splatter background & the popcorn ink. I added a bit of the same splatter bg on the white part using the lt blue ink. The first two lines of the greeting were added in lower left.
Congrats again, Joy, enjoy your week! It's just been posted on my blog: The Write Stuff
