Today is Queen for the Day challenge and Trish gave us a wonderful way to start off this new year. We all get to pick our own choice for QFTD. I chose Grace Nywening AKA Scrappingramma2. Yesterday Grace told us that her dear MIL was close to going to Heaven and she has weighed heavy on my heart since then. I thought that I would let her know I was thinking of her by CASEing one of her gorgeous cards. Grace was also QFTD11 back when this wonderful challenge first started.
I tried very hard to keep the overall feeling of her beautiful creation. Only the sentiment and label 14 are the same... the rest is as close as I could come with my supplies. I think her card is square and mine is an A7. I made the rose for my card. The vintage lace ribbon is a cherished piece from my late mother's stash.
Grace please know that prayers are coming your way.

Oh my goodness Tina!!! This is gorgeous and I'm so honored that you would case one of my cards!!! This lifts my spirits a great deal today, as Mom did pass away yesterday and we are in that difficult time of making arrangements, contacting everyone, etc. So I am so thankful for your prayers!!!
Your card is beyond gorgeous! I LOVE your hand made flower and the lace is just beautiful!!!
Thanks again for your sweet thoughts and words!!!
love and hugs,
Grace

A lovely, lovely job of casing Grace's card! You are so very thoughtful to honor her in this time of sadness for her family. Nicely done, Tina!
