Sad news received today that a fellow stamper, Charlene Merrick, a/k/a LilLuvsStampin has lost her battle with cancer.
As I think of her, I remember one very sweet lady so when I saw the challenge today, I decided to case one of Charlene's cards in memory of her. BTW, her DH, Terry is in need of a kidney and also needs prayers. I chose this sweet Valentine of Charlene's to case. I have no doubt she is in the arms of the Lord, but we, her cyber friends on SCS and the CCEE DT will miss her very much. She was one talented stamper, a kind and generous lady with her comments and a sweet, sweet woman! Rest in the Lord's arms, dear friend.

Oh, Vicky, I read this with such sadness. I did not know Charlene was fighting cancer, but did know about her DH. Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

It is so hard to lose a friend. I hope believing you will meet her again in a place and time free from cancer brings you peace. Thank you for sharing your creation and your faith in our mighty God. lj

So sweet of you to case one of our dear friend's cards. I am so sorry to lose her, but so glad her battle is over. Your cheerful card speaks of her humor!

I really didn't have much contact with Charlene, but it seems like she had MANY MANY friends here on SCS. Your beautifully done card is a REAL tribute to her as are your words.

What a wonderful tribute to an awesome fellow stamper, Vicky! It really saddens my heart to know she is gone......such a shame......but being in the arms of Jesus is a much better place to be! Thank you for letting us know.

Oh, this is such sad news. I did not know Charlene was battling cancer. Your card is a wonderful tribute to our "sister stamper". A sweet image and card.

What a sweet way to honor Charlene. I didn't know her, but remember reading her lovely comments and compliments on other's cards. Her gallery is a beautiful tribute to her and a wonderful celebration of her life. She left so much beauty for others to enjoy.
