Both the Queen for the Day and the Free4All challenges this week were "look-back" challenges. We were to pick a challenge from this past year -- maybe one we hadn't done before or one that we really liked. I hadn't done F4A188 (Four Square), but I had done QFTD150 and chose to repeat it in honor of Beate's retirement. I took a little creative license on the "four-square" challenge -- I used four white squares, not just a total of four squares. I CASEd this card from Beate's gallery but made it square rather than A2. I stippled around the outside of the squares with both olive green and black.

What a gorgeous card! I love how you coloured those beautiful butterflies. This is a technique I have yet to try. This is encouragement indeed and a lovely tribute to Beate! TFS

WONDERFUL! The butterflies are colored beautifully, and I love the stippling. I love the look of triple stamping - someday I'm going to try it -
