Hello Friends,
Got my inspiration from Dina this morning. I loved her sample and though I know mine doesn't come close, I still got my basic inspiration from her card and tried to CASE it.
I used re-inkers to color my paste and used a regular metal stencil for the diamond panes in the BG. I used Elizabeth Craft Designs pine bough, Merry Christmas, and ornament die. Some twine and some glass glitter (which I actually cut myself on). cut out the Polaroid picture frame with Spellbinders rectangle and square dies. Thought about imprinting a date or something on it but I didn't remember if the Polaroid pictures had anything like that, so I didn't do it.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the house I grew up in had a family room with windows that looked like those diamond panes. Cool huh?

Love it! The windows with the glass glitter are so pretty - I am always afraid using the Diamond Dust I have, and the glass microbeads too - I'm always just sure some little piece is going to go into my eye...

So sorry you were injured in the making of this card, but it turned out so well! Love the window panes and the whole scene you created for your Polaroid shot - very clever!
