I clear-embossed a pattern of leaves on watercolour paper and applied various alcohol inks over the leaves to make the background. I thought a gold embossed leaf would look stunning in the middle but when I did it to my great surprise I could barely see it. I still wanted a focal point so I stamped the same leaf separately on white card, slapped on some of the same alcohol inks, dripped crystal effects over it and threw some microbeads at it, most of which actually landed on the leaf. When the leaf was dry I cut it out, outlined it with the white gel pen and stuck it on over the gold embossed leaf with some foam dots.
