This is one of two cards I made for today's challenge ~ BOOKS!!! I love to read, and I am a book hoarder. I read everything and anything, well, except I'm not overly fond of history or sci-fi, but my DH has those covered. Everyone in our entire family reads ~ on every family vacation I read a book out loud to pass the time in the car.
My favorite books are romantic comedies and romantic suspense ~ I LOVE a good romance. And Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors so I made a card using a quote from her book, "Northanger Abbey." Not my favorite of her books, but I love the quote.
Thanks so much for the wonderful challenge

Northanger Abbey isn't one of my favourites either, but as soon as I saw your card I was sure you were going to be inspired by Jane Austen - so you certainly aced the challenge.

This is not my fav of hers either, but she writes wonderfully! Well done in choosing this image and sentiment.

How cool!!! Love this image! Your sentiment reminds me of what Sean Connery says in the movie "The First Knight". He tells Richard Gere that he "cannot love people in slices". Awesome card!

Such a lovely card! Love the silhouettes supported by those soft patterns. Love the rose paper. I think I have a scrap of that left somewhere. Beautiful!

The quote is fabulous! As is the card!! I have the WORST time with Austen, Bronte, etc. and used to rent the BBC tv plays...one thing about the Brits..they don't cut anything or edit anything! I would read the book as I watched the movie!! But this card would make me pick up an Austen book anytime!! LOVE IT!
