This card was made for today's color challenge. I had a full day at work wrapping wonderful chocolates for our shop, Divine Treasures, but wanted to play tonight even though I didn't finish dinner until 9 PM.
I also made this card for this week's Featured Stamper challenge. I loved Anita's gallery and her beautiful coloring and soft colors and wonderful snowmen. I cased this card:
but used this cute snow girl by Stampendous since I didn't have any awesome snow fairies. I stayed true to the sketch for this card (except for changing my card to an A6 size instead of square), but changed out the colors for today's Color Challenge colors and used different papers and images. I used SU markers and pads and a blender pen to create the contrast I wanted in this image. I did used some Soft Sky ink on the snow girl to shade her. My desert comes with the snowflakes I stamped on the back patterned paper piece and in the greeting. I colored white pearls with a Copic Marker to match the Pistachio Pudding color and used three layers of white CS glued together to create the snowflakes.

Oh, Kathy, I just LOVE these colors for a Christmas card! I was talking to BeckyTE last night and talking about how they would be great for Christmas…and this is truly lovely and darling! I totally love the snowman . . . or showgirl!
