Audrie gave us another wonderful site with amazing examples. I needed to make a sympathy card for a man who loved polka music. When I saw this paper, I knew what I wanted to put on the card. http://italianstationeryblog.com/wp-...3/IMG_5795.jpg
I printed sheet music and the instrument from the internet. Outlined it with a goldleaf pen. Added the sympathy with gold embossing powder. I could really make it personal for his family. tfl

it is always a sad time to make a sympathy card but remembering the happy and fun things about the person really is what gets you through the tough times...sure they will appreciate the personal touches you added mf...well done.

When I first looked at your card I couldn't figure out what polka and sympathy had to do with each other........then when I read your narrative I'm SURE that your friend's family will really smile when opening this one.

Such a special sympathy card and I'm sure the family will appreciate that you made it ... and it reflected something loved by their departed family member.
The gold and black is so elegant and the added cording and tassle are perfect embellishments.
