to recycle, reuse or repurpose something on our cards. I used an invitation from a holiday party that was a really thick shimmer card stock with snowflake embossing for the cake.
I'm into cake all of a sudden. I don't know if my cake should be red velvet or carrot. Both are good to me. The cake is just a square piece with a little rounding at the corners with scissors. The vase was cut down to make a cake stand.

Wonderful way to use the punches! Love your cake....I think I would to for the red velvet....my favorite! Sweet card!

Mmmm, yummy!!! I LOVE your cake with the star topper!! It can be both red velvet AND carrot cake - in layers!! Layers separated by buttercream frosting!! What a gorgeous, gorgeous card!!

Angela what a beautiful CAS card... love how you designed your gorgeous cake and stand for it... also love the holly.... I guess at Christmas, I would have to say Christmas cake with all the yummy fruit and nuts....
