My card features the poinsettia stamp from Uniko Studio Stamps called Pure Florals: Poinsettia. It was stamped with Versamark onto poppy parade card stock and embossed with a mixture of opaque white embossing powder and glitter. Another poinsettia was stamped, embossed, and the inner part was cutout and popped up over the first poinsettia with foam tape. The sentiment from the same set was embossed with the same mix and the silver pearls and silver cording finish it off. I'm sorry about the picture...I couldn't capture the sparkle but it really is there!!! TFL and I hope you can join us for this weeks TLC challenge!!

Beautiful Joan!!! Love the dimension and the sparkle! I never thought about adding glitter to embossing powder, what a wonderful technique! Will have to try this one!

This sounds like a fun challenge. Monday is housework day after work, but some time this week I'm counting on this to help me use up the clear and white EP I accidentally mixed together - why not throw some glitter into the mix too ;-). The sparkly white embossing on red makes for a very stylish poinsettia.

Love the red and white, Joan. I had fun with this challenge experimenting with different ep and some glittered ep I had gotten at Michael's. I am still in search of the perfect gold embossing powder. Does this stuff get old and lose it's effectiveness?
