Good Morning, I hope you have not all run yourselves ragged as I have this week. This is my card for our Queen Beverly aka rubyheartedmom. Beverly your cards are great and since you were on here way before me, I decided to go way back and find one that was here before I was. I was lucky enough to find this cutie
I didn't have a big picket fence and didn't want to melt crayons, so I did a fall brick wall to honor you. Enjoy your week. Hugs!
I found a piece of unknown dp and put it throught the Cuttlebug in the Tim Holtz brick wall folder that I had "painted" one side with Ranger Distressed Walnut Stain so the mortar would show up. Next I tried to stamp on the ivy - already knowing it would not work - so I stamped it on a separate sheet of cardstock, outlined the edges with a fine black marker and popped it up on the stamped ivy. I DO like how it turned out. Sentiment is computer generated.

Love the color palette on this. And what a good thing that you couldn't stamp the ivy on that fab BG as you initially wanted to. Doing it the way you ended up doing and popping it up gave the card even more dimension and allowed the ivy to take center stage.

I love the rich textured look you achieved on this. Outstanding card.
