Well - I've had the feather stamp and the feather (picked up in the garden one day) on my desk since last Friday trying to get something made for last week's MIX43 challenge. There've been a couple of discards!!
Seeing the sketch this morning I knew I could get a kickstart from it - and I did. Going with feathers, since my verse about being "under the shadow of His wings" wouldn't work with the sketch, I thought one about trust still tied in well. It's stamped on white card, sponged with scattered straw and tea dye and stamped with Canvas in iced spruce.
For the feather panel, I stamped it on white card and coloured the feathers with Couleur d'Art pencils. They seem to be waxier than the Polychromos and act better if I need them to resist. After colouring, I sponged with distress inks. All panels matted on Bazzill, and I added the feather with a felt button tied with raffia.

What a beautiful take on all these challenges with this card, Sabrina. The feather is a lovely touch and knowing how much birding is part of your life, this makes it so special. I like the dp...nice work.

This is just so pretty, my mind is swirling as much as those feathers trying what to say first! I guess first of all the feathers look great. love the coloring. The dp is wonderful with the whole theme of the card. The scripture is of course, perfect, and the felt button and feather add an excellent touch! tfs
