The thing for which I am most grateful is my husband. He had open heart surgery yesterday, and after a month and a half of testing, delays, and snafus the procedure went off without any major hitches. One of the most beautiful things that I've ever experienced was the surgeon debriefing us on the procedure. He described attaching the artery below the blockage and my husband's heart beating stronger immediately. I was preparing myself for the worst, so I am so profoundly grateful to God that DH will have to put up with me a lot longer! His get well card is one of gratitude...that he had the surgery and is pushing himself through all of the pain and recovery.
I used Vicki's wonderfully manly colors to make this very clean card, with a simple uplifting image and sentiment. The only detail not obvious is that I pre-inked the EF with Whisper White.
Thank you for looking. I hope that you have as much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving as do I. Have a peaceful day.
