I love this color combination, Vicky. And I hope to do a brighten version tomorrow, but this is what you get when you are seriously in need of caffeine! You call on Coffee-zilla...I mean they have a delivery service for just about everything else, why not midnight kafee!
This card took a wild, but fun turn when I decided to add the town houses. In the beginning of this card, I had thought to ink this wonderful American Art Stamp and paper piece his coffee cup...but the size of the stamp left this huge amount of real estate on my A2 card, so that's when the idea of coffee-zilla was born...he roams from house to house looking for all the night owls in need of a boost!
Don't you just love those wonky townhouses? I turned on some of the lights in a few of the houses...my blue light house recently converted to all Verilux 'Happy' lights.
Thanks so much for stopping, I'd love to sit and share a cuppa of Joe. Do tell, how do you drink your coffee? I am a triple cap girl, dry.

Oh, Susan....your creativity is flowing again. You're right, those night owls need some java...how fun to "turn on" some lights so they didn't trip and spill their coffee on the carpeting! Brilliantly creative, my friend...but, then, that's what you do!

5 cents for some coffee sure would be sweet, huh?!! I drink my coffee the way my momma instructed me too when I was young - "If you're gonna drink it, you may as well get used to it black." On few special occasions I might go for the mocha latte. Thanks for adding fun to the gallery. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! :>)

Love your post and your card. The houses are so cute and I guess all those with the lights on are having their midnight coffee. I am not a coffee fan but a Diet Dr. Pepper-Zilla gal. Either way, we all get our caffeine, don't we?

How cute! Like that little town. Me I don't like all that foo foo coffee. Give me straight up black Folgers!! I know I am so in the minority but that's ok.
