This is my card for two challenges, F4A196 Have a Heart - use a heart on your card, and WT454 Em, Boss, To Resist is Not Futile - use any of the emboss resist techniques.
I got so busy with Christmas cards I almost forgot to post this!
I started with a heavy multimedia paper and coated it lightly with gesso. When it dried, modeling paste was applied through a cardstock stencil made with the heart die from IO. I spritzed the script stamp with water and gently stamped into the almost dry modeling paste (almost too dry!). after the paste was totally dry I stamped the postmark with Versa Mark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged on the Broken China and Peacock Feathers, stamped the "Love" in VersaMark and clear embossed. I sponged the Spiced Marmalade and misted with water. I repeated the embossing process with the butterfly stamp, finished the sponging with Black Soot, and misted with water again. The TCW stencil was laid over the piece and blotted through with a damp paper towel in random areas. To finish, I rubbed the Inka gold on the hearts. Whew!
As always, thanks for looking!

The modelling paste through the die looks great - an amazing multi-media card. I'd imagine that finding the window of opportunity for stamping in the modelling paste is a narrow one, but I can still see the effect. I also love the look of using damp paper through the stencil to lift some colour. This is one fantastic card.
