It's my privilege and pleasure to provide the story for today's Teapotter Tickle! Thanks for joining us. To read the story, check out the MMTPT278 thread or find and click the Tuesday Teapotter challenge on the SCS Home Page.
Today is National Cake Day! 42,000 Teapotter Sistahs have traveled by plane, train, bus, and automobile to get to Bakersville to decorate a ba-zillion cakes for the BIGGEST Cake Walk evah! Surely with their help, the town of Bakersville will find a spot in the World Record Book! Thanks to Hazy and Lazy for telling Holly and Lolly who told their Mom's Marlene and Darlene, their story of Susie in Oz!
I based my card on one of the inspiration cakes (see thumbnails or links.) I cut and chomped the layers, punched and embellished the circles and placed the cake on a black and silver, "party" background. It was FUUUUN to make and I hope whoever I Tickle, will be happy to receive it.
Thanks for looking!

No difficulty telling what your inspiration once - you nailed it with those fabby striped lollipops. This is just beautiful, Gabby - I bet you had fun cooking it up and I know for sure I'd love it, I'm sure whoever gets it will.

OMG, Gabby, this is a fantastically decorated cake - it so reminds me of the many fancy cakes I used to make for my boy's birthdays when they were little - they were works of art!! Great colours - the teapotter who receives this will be delighted. Loved your story, too, Gabby - you organised a fun challenge this week!!
