This is for the Doctorate Degree in VSBN. We are to use mists, inks, spray for a background. I first embossed with clear ep the swallowtail. Then added the Distress dobbers, the Primrose ink which I sprayed with a mister of Pink Pirouette and water so I could move the ink around. This was sprayed with the White Linen and again once it was all dry.
The panels were made by embossing with the three powders. Then came the alcohol inks. What I had failed to realize was that the alcohol ink would also color the embossing, but I still like the effect. The flowers were stamped, die cut, and colored with markers. I stamped the word and added the die cut little butterflies from a scrap of DSP.
Because the watercolor paper was only 11 inches wide I added a white sheet that comes in the albums and used a template to make the scalloped edge.
I have had a wonderful time working on this page!

What a lot of love and fun went into creating this page! I'm sure you're hands will be pink and purple for weeks!!! The effect you have achieved is perfect for the perfect little butterfly princess in your photo! Great page!
