dizzymommie (Janelle S) asked us to use feathers in this week's MIX challenge. Well, I had one metal feather charm left...but it is a peacock feather! Hence the title mixed up feathers. lol Oh well, I sponged the background with TH distress inks, then embossed it. I punched out small circles for the raffia to go thru and added the charm and the sentiment. The image is colored with Copics and up on dimensionals. I should be working on Christmas cards, but was too tempted and made this card Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

It's been years since I used this stamp! I love what you've done with it! Better get mine out from "storage" and try it again. Thanks for the motivation.

Kathleen so glad you went with making this whimsical card. It sure put a smile on my face let me tell you. I love that chicken. I never would have notice your feather was of the peacock kind. To me, a feather is a feather. hehe Fabulously fun card! TFS :0)

I love that chicken and sentiment! Too fun but what caught my eye in the gallery was the gorgeous sponging, spotlighting your image! WOW on those colors and love the lighting! Agree with Mutnik too- I would not have known it was a peacock feather. Awesome card and into favorites!

Hey I'm no feather expert...I wouldn't have even batted an eye at your peacock feather (lol). Hilarious card..your sponging is amazing! I can see why you had to do this challenge..when an idea pops up you have to run with it...I'm glad you did, this is super fun!!
