Love today's challenge colors and since I made a couple of Christmas cards yesterday, I decided to go with Thanksgiving instead. This also fits the fan club central theme. I had seen a cute plaid dress on Pinterest that had a tan bg so I thought I'd try to make my own plaid/grid using markers. I used the brush side twice to make the Artichoke horizontal line then added an offset thin Cherry Cobbler line. I the did one line of Cherry and thin Artichoke going perpendicular to those. I added some grid scoring on my Vanilla base as well and sponged with BBS to help it show up better. I die cut my Autumn Accent leaves and acorn and then used the Gorgeous Grunge lines and spatters to add to them. For the acorn I cut a post it note circle to mask off the lower part before I stamped. I also crumpled all the pieces and added some sponging. My sentiment was inked with Versamark then Cherry and embossed in clear. This leaf is popped on dimensionals.

You did a fantastic job creating your own plaid dp, Gail! That's not an easy task either. Your leafy scene matches perfectly and the sentiment placed directly on the leaf is a nice touch~

The added acorn is just perfect with these pretty leaves. Love the plaid.
