You'll have to look hard to see today's sketch! I've got the rectangle panels (used Tim's notebook edge die), one large square turned on it's point and a small square...but this paper is so busy, it could be impossible to make out. See, I definitely am challenged.
I wanted to create a 'I'm thinking of you card' for my beloved Daddy~io. Hopefully this will give him cheer. Gotta love the River City RubberWorks old typewriter which I cut a slit for insert my 'typing paper'. At the bottom of the typewriter is a love 'u' underneath the film strips.
Have a superb day and thank you for stopping by.

That typewriter is fab, Susan. It reminds me not of the one I learned on, which was my half-sister's little portable, but my mother's old one. And then I had one a bit like yours too - I always regret not keeping it but I suppose we couldn't keep toting it round from house to house. How neat to tuck the "typing" paper into it - and those retro papers suit it perfectly too.

I like when the sketch is not so easy to see. I love that old typewriter!! Love how you put the slit in it to include the paper. The notebook punch and the filmstrip pieces are awesome embellishment for your cool collage card!! :>)

What a thoughtful card for your dad. I love it when a card makes me look at it and interact with it -- I see the sketch!, but not at first glance as you say. Masculine colors, kind gesture. I am sure he will appreciate your love.

Oh yes, I see it too! :) Very very clever indeed and just great! It has a wonderful eclectic feel and unique charm that I just enjoy so much! Your Daddy io is sure to enjoy it just as much, if not more!! Thanks for sharing today. Hugs!
