This is the first card I started for Peggy. I then thought I had better see if it would be okay with Pat (foxy67). In the meantime, I decided to do the other card. When Pat got back to me, she said this would be okay. So I finished it.
I like this pattern, as you can change the color of the ribbon (this one is peach) for whatever type of cancer it is. I can even use this with a red ribbon for Women's heart disease.
This pattern is sewn with a 1 - 4 spacing. I did another with a 1 - 3 spacing, but the 1 - 4 looks better. I also did one with a different hair color, but here again, I like it with the same color for the body and hair.
So, this card and the other, went off to Peggy c/o Pat today. I hope Peggy enjoys getting all these cards of well wishes.

Jennifer, your cards are always so unique and truly special. Love the stitched design to be the image of a woman and your colored bow makes it so personal for the person that you are sending it to. When the recipient opens their envelope, they HAVE to be in awe!

Your embroidered cards are always beautiful and something so special to receive. I really like that stylised woman holding her flower. This does indeed look like a perfect card for ringing the colour changes depending on the person you're sending it to.
We are always delighted to have volunteer hostesses for Tickle a Teapotter Tuesdays. All you need is an idea for a theme and a picture of a teapot to suit it.
