For today's IC I was inspired by THIS picture. I liked the cool colour palette and feeling of light. In keeping with the tree in the photo framed by the white window blinds, I cut an aperture in a plain textured white card and layered my image behind it.
This week's ODBD challenge is to be inspired by music or a song. I love the music in "The Snowman" and love playing the theme tune on the flute.
A2 base.
ODBD Snowman stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and masked. I stamped the Snowflake backgrounder with Versamark and embossed with white EP, then sponged with Weathered Wood. Trees coloured with Iced Spruce after using a brown Sakura Glaze pen on the little pinecones, and I used a little Pumice Stone sponged in under the glitter lines.

So, so pretty with that swirly, snowy sky, Sabrina - this card has such a frosty beauty - mind you, hope this is the only place we're going to see snowflakes round here for the time being - safely on a beautiful creation!

Oh, Sabrina, what a gorgeous card! I LOVE this snowman image and how beautifully it sits inside the negative die frame! And the background paper is lovely! So glad you've joined us again this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! Hugs, Cheryl
