After a couple of failed attempts yesterday, I tried again to stamp on the sticky stuff for this week's technique challenge. I used a piece of Pink Pirouette that I stamped with the Floral bg in Strawberry. I then added my coat of glue, using slightly watered down ModPodge. I stamped my French Script into the slightly dry glue. After zapping with the heat gun, I sponged the Soft Suede into the indents...finally had good results! I ended up removing a bit of glue as I wiped off the excess ink, but I was OK with that as it took off a bit of the sheen. I stamped my flowers and petals in pigment inks. I stamped my Eiffel Tower in Versafine Onyx then embossed in black ep. I added some gold to the edges and spritzed a little shimmer spray and rubbed that over the surface. I trimmed with a crumpled seam binding bow over a wire floral piece that I'd attached a charm to. I wanted a different sentiment than what was on the heart, so I stuck a sticker over it with a dimensional behind it.
Here's my Pinterest inspiration for this card.

Gail - this is beautiful! I love the vintage look, and you probably know I love the Eiffel tower. Since it doesn't look as if we'll get there this year :-( I'll just have to make do with popping this into my favourites.
