I've been wanting to try the Bordered Sentiment technique for a while. Sabrina gave me the perfect opportunity with today's Ways To Use It Challenge of masking. And Lynn's HYCCT challenge (I *Heart* You) worked its way into my card also. I stamped the heart/music image twice -- once on the card base and once on a piece of Eclipse Tape. I cut out the inside of the heart on the tape; I masked out the outside of the image and then sponged the inside of the heart. then I laid a strip of Eclipse tape across the bottom of the card and stamped the flower images. After removing the tape and stamping the word "hope" in the space, I drew a thin line with my journaling pen.

EXCELLENT. I have this stamp too, and it's always been one of my favorites...I need to go dig it out and use it. Thanks for the inspiration, and for playing along with my challenge today!

I kind of feel disappointed that all the lovely Bordered Sentiment cards today aren't going to show in the technique gallery because so many of them (including mine ) are for HYCCT.
That heart and music stamp is wonderful (you know I love music!) and the flowers bordering the sentiment are lovely. Great work, Lois.
