This is a Halloween card I made for my 10 yo DD. The stamp is by Penny Black and was coloured with Tombow watercolour pens and a paintbrush which was really quick because I only needed to colour the tails, shadows and ground. To make the sheets look really white, I chalked around the sky with Kaisercolour blue chalk which tricks your eye into thinking that the sheets are white when they are in fact, the same colour as the watercolour paper which in reality, is more of a cream colour. I added some Glossy Accents to the eyes to make them glow a little.
The spider web is a Memory Box Creepy Web die #98158 which I trimmed down by about half. The spider is also a Memory Box die - from their Scary Spiders set #98704 - which I put up on a pop-dot to give it some dimension. I added Glossy Accents all over the spider which made him look really creepy and like a real one - and I wanted to squash him because I am an Arachnophobic LOL!
The designer paper is old - from 2008 - and I ran it through my Big Shot using a Cuttlebug Textile ef then lightly sanded it as well as the orange and black cardstock to distress it.
I sponged the sentiment panel with orange pigment ink. The bottom border is an EK Success Arrows border punch.
