If you thought your already saw these chickens today you are right. I challenged my friend Pam to make a card for the sketch today using the same set. You can see her card here. I used drywall tape and burlap for the two vertical panels. The background for my card was done by cutting scraps into 1/2 squares and glueing them to a piece of cardstock. I tea bag stained the panel with the chicken wire. I printed the chicken wire using my computer. I stamped the chickens onto a page from the encyclopedia that I have slowly been dissassembling. I watercolored them and added cream colored acrylic paint dots. If you would like to see a close up photo of the chickens you can see it on my blog[ MISSISSIPPI-MCGYVER.

Shoot, I forgot to mention you....gotta go back and link your creation! I love that you used two of my favortie things...drywall tape and burlap. The tea bag staining is awesome and love how these birds are colored up. And best of all, you stitched....so jealous.

Yes, this does look a bit familiar. I love all the things you have done to create this beauty!! The encyclopedia is a great idea as is the copying of the chicken wire. Wow, dry wall tape and acrylic paint - this is definitely a beauty for the mixed media challenge. Wonderful work!!
