This is for Kathleen's challenge. Honor your Elders. My grandmother was a great influence to me. She gave me the love for crafting. She taught me to knit and sew. She could take the measurements of a person, cut out a pattern out of newspaper and make a beautiful garment. My favorite Christmas present came from her each year....new box of crayons and a coloring book. I used elements on this card that came from Kathleen who so kindly sent them to me. I added the charms and washi tape. tfl

Oh Linda - what lovely memories. And what a lovely present to look forward to each year. (We always got new Lego to share between us from my great-aunts in Canada, and we always looked forward to that ).
I LOVE your music washi tape. What a great vintage card, and extra fun that you used things Kathleen sent you to create it.

Oh Linda! This makes me so happy! I am so glad you could find a use for some of the things I sent! The way you design your tag card with the layers and lace is so VERY pretty! Thank you for sharing about your dear grandmother! I have such respect for folks who can sew!!! I love that she gave you crayons and a coloring book every year at Christmas too! She sounds amazing!!! Thank you so much Linda, Love it all!!!
